"The problem is the solution"

A saying that every new student of permaculture immediately burns into memory. Its simple, concise, and mind expanding for many...I know it was for me. Learning about permaculture design doesnt just change your patterns of thought in the garden or in the field, it effects your whole life.

And when I got started, I think like many, I thought "what new system or animal or technique do I need to overcome this challenge...how do I make use of this problem?" There was always an exhaustive search for an elegant solution that used the "problem" to my advantage.

Unfortunately, sometimes the solution isnt a LGD, a donkey, or a guard goose...sometimes the solution is .22LR .
