I always have a backpack, fully set, which i can grab and just leave in 30 seconds flat. I feel i'll need it some day.
I often visit hiking stores, they got some pretty cool stuff nowadays.

My wife has one of these. Makes me carry it for her all the time when out and about. Calls it her purse or some silly shit like that. 😜
Any advise or resources you can share as to what such a bagpack should contain?
Well, it will depend on where you live and the type of environment you'd lay low in. Mine is small but fully geared for location and my needs, not running from Marshals as well:
- Clothing (you won't need much, T-shirts, a sweater, a pair of jeans, shorts, underwear, socks)
- 1 pair of shoes (Rebecca Lim's brand are comfortable and can be flattened easily)
- Utensils, foldable (1 extendable silicone plate, 1 fork, 1 spoon, 1 multi-purpose cup)
- Merrcurr's blade
- multi-tool swiss knife
- small first aid kit
- tissues for your butt (don't take a roll)
- laptop, power-bank, iPad, charging cables (USB-A and USB-C)
- Toiletries (Travel version of everything)
- Military grade flashlight
- Passport/ID's
- Bitcoin gear and batteries
- Personal documents
- Cash
-Portable internet
The thing is i must get or upgrade items to optimize space in that bag and it will evolve.

Nice reminder that we should always be ready…I need to work on this🤙🏻
Might I suggest (depending on your use case of course) a Garmin inreach?
If you need a BOB it’s probably because shit hit the fan. Comms might be down and these things are great to send SMS via satellite and share your locations with family. We have one with us whenever we’re hiking and they do work really well. 👌
Any recommendations for Go Bag items, I've been considering my own.
I did this for our entire family but my stuff is fairly small compared to kids needs.
We have earthquakes, threats of tsunami and typhoons, so helps to be ready. Thankfully never had to use.
Karnage prepares for the worse, i am looking at that too but they need to fit. I will add to the list, an emergency blanket, water filter, solar powered charger, paracord, a fire starter kit. #[3] #[4]
