It’s ‘back’ backbreaking work. Then there are the little snakes and all sorts of bugs out to get you. Plus the sun burn. Having some fish to catch is the one consolation.

I take for granted opening a fancy woven bag with a zipper embossed with Indian words I don't understand and soaking basmati for an hour without any labor 🪺
