Too many struggle and/or do not know who they are internally. Lack of resources or time to even consider "who" they are is one reason. Many have been brainwashed to believe various narratives, etc.
Love is what makes humanity unique. Compassion for others and how to best assist one anothet to live & succeed * should * be normal.
