You don't always have to be doing something. You can just be, and that's plenty.

Alice Walker

Since writing her first poetry book in 1968, she has gone on to publish more than 30 literary works, including her Pulitzer Prize-winning novel "The Color Purple," and has spent decades advocating for women’s rights and civil rights. This quote is a welcome invitation to slow down and take in the simple joys of living — or, as Walker put it, to feel connected to and loved by the universe.
