My grandmother had a good friend who was a famous cuneiform translator.
I met him. Maybe it was hieroglyphics. She was a stan for famous folks.
My mother had a poster of Tutankhamun on the ladder up to her bedroom with my stepfather. I had a hard time remembering left and right for a long time and always had to think about the poster being on my right as i went up the ladder. That house was where i was photographed by my grandmother, who put my picture into her book without permission.
My second mother's first daughter has always had issues with directions, to the point where her mother commented she could get lost blocks from her house.
They built that house with a lot of wood from the dump, back in the days when you could grab the reusable stuff that other people dumped. Then fights happened and they banned the practice that still happens many other places on earth.
