Yesterday, I watched God Bless Bitcoin in the living room.

My 8-year old managed to watch about 5 minutes and gave up.

My wife was in the same room, but busy, and didn't pay attention for about half the movie. Then she said: are you trying to brain wash me? She ended up on the couch, and started commented on every interviewee like:

So, it wasn't a real success...

While I enjoyed the spiritual comments, I don't think Bitcoin should be a religion. There are always gate keepers in a religion. And interpretations can lead to horrible takes, even pure evil.

At some points, it really felt Bitcoin was a cult. It's not. It's just open money for the world.

Next step, I'd like my parents to watch it. But I'm not sure this will resonate with them, for reasons mentioned above. I can't send them the link, or they'll ignore it, or simply forget. So, I'll have a watch party when they visit.
