Loved Bernard Hill’s noble portrayal of Théoden in the movies. If you ever want to see him playing a real asshole, check out “Wolf Hall”. He was a proper bastard as the Duke of Norfolk, Anne Boleyn’s uncle.

Last month I watched (again) the three of them extended versions with my 12yo daughter. Amazing.
We watched the normal ones. I refuse to acknowledge those, but we had only those now. What a disgrace. Would you believe the scene with Aragorn's party running away from falling skulls is not there at all? Or Aragorn spitting out that terrible soup Eowyn made? Shame!! I have like three more hours of life I have nothing to do with now. #lotr
