I do know a thing or two about Erik. If I didn’t, I wouldn’t have wanted to talk to him over the last couple years. I’m a profiler by 2nd nature. As an example, I just had an annual eye exam and I successfully profiled the optometry technician as a runner based solely on observed details.
Most religious people are dogmatists, including religious Bitcoiners, which is a shame because every religious tradition teaches the golden rule, and dogmatism is 180 degrees antithetical to the golden rule.
My name was given to me as an acknowledgment of my spiritual accomplishment. In order for that spiritual accomplishment to have occurred, I necessarily abided that golden rule, really fuckin hard.
All I do is try to consider the perspectives of others. 99% of the time, that’s a one way street though. While that is frustrating to me and while it does occasionally cause me to “boil over” in a minor way, it doesn’t actually surprise me. If humans were successfully practicing the golden rule, every religious tradition wouldn’t be trying to teach us that rule.
Before questioning my perspective, consider reviewing my perspective rather than passing judgement on someone you probably know nothing about.
