I mean, at a MINIMUM, if people don’t have to stress about their money, it frees up SOOO much brain RAM to be directed elsewhere.

People aren’t (usually) complete fools, they’re (usually/hopefully) just too distracted by the several dozen crises in their face on a daily basis.
