I've been thinking about WhatsApp because it's a good example of an internet native tech that got adopted quickly. The S-curve is amazing. 2.5B users 2009-2023!

Thinking of a parallel for Nostr purple tend to think of older inventions and their adoption, like the internet itself and its own adoption. But the internet didn't have the internet to use for its network effect. Internet native inventions do have the internet to augment adoption quicker.

I think the Nostr clients that can answer the "why" question well will thrive just like WhatsApp.
