I am proud of being Canadien, period. I am proud of our history, culture, and overall quality of life.
You can disagree with details or situations, but cannot fade the freedom we have in comparison to other places in the world.
You can pinpoint negative for any countries. Not being proud and happy about living in Canada would be “country privileged”. So many other places worst to be living in. Need to be grateful.
While I agree it’s good to have a great attitude, and there are worse places. I don’t agree about being proud of this country right now, we have been on a massive backslide for the worse for quite some time and it’s being run by the mafia and lead by a psychopath. I am hopeful that things change however 🤞🏼
