Although, some Christian libertarians and anarchists/voluntarists believe that Jesus meant for us to do away with the death penalty (and it's use by the "State") when He forgave and spared the woman caught in adultery that the Mosaic law said should have been stoned to death. I haven't fully made up my mind on the issue, though I certainly oppose State violence...
