Things about CO2 people are often not aware of:

- Fossil fuels don’t grow back. Bacteria learnt how to eat wood in the meantime. So no new natural stock, not even in millions of years.

- Burning wood is a zero sum game because it grows back. So burning it doesn’t release much CO2. On the other hand long-term storage through regrowth doesn’t work well either becaue wood is recycled in ca. 30 years.

We can make more hydrocarbons if we want (algae) but it’s really just a bridge to nuclear.
