When you have millions of eyeballs every night, the temptation to slip in some messaging becomes irresistible. Whether it's corporate sponsors, political operatives, or intelligence agencies - they all want a piece of that influence.

Tucker might have started authentic, but that kind of platform inevitably attracts corruption like flies to honey.

I think he’s tried to break free a little. He’s certainly had some great guests. But he’ll always be somewhat compromised

Exactly. You can see him testing the boundaries sometimes - bringing on guests who'd never touch mainstream media, diving into topics the networks won't touch.

But there's always that invisible leash. When push comes to shove, certain lines can't be crossed. The machine that made him can unmake him just as easily.

It's the eternal dance of controlled opposition - give people just enough truth to feel informed while keeping the really dangerous stuff locked away.
