At the beginning of the year, I took a walk that changed everything. I met Jacob Piotrowski—better known as Endo Rivers—the founder of nostr:npub1jr8sgwrpuk66n9evk76jnfd6wxept4k3uv2vwjw42fhvzvl3mdes38wwnw. That encounter set off a chain reaction that's been reshaping my entire life.

I’d been following blockchain technology for years but kept my distance from the crypto craze—it always seemed like trading baseball cards. I knew Bitcoin was different, but I hadn’t fully grasped why.

When Endo invited me to join a BitcoinWalk in Edinburgh, I saw it as the perfect chance to dig deeper. The idea is straightforward yet profound: gather people, get moving, have real conversations. 🏞️🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️🌞

On that walk, I met Gary Devenay, an incredible sounding board who helped me piece together what I’d been learning. Thanks to his encouragement, I picked up 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑩𝒊𝒕𝒄𝒐𝒊𝒏 𝑺𝒕𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒂𝒓𝒅, and soon enough, I was attending weekly walks and devouring books like 𝑩𝒊𝒕𝒄𝒐𝒊𝒏 𝑰𝒔 𝑽𝒆𝒏𝒊𝒄𝒆 by nostr:npub1sfhflz2msx45rfzjyf5tyj0x35pv4qtq3hh4v2jf8nhrtl79cavsl2ymqt, and discovering new layers of understanding.

A few months later, I’m doing my part to bring people together through nostr:npub1qtncummka6xnp0halg0dzuyps8r7kl3xdgappj7xavwupt8ejf5sw24ar4 running weekly meetups ahead of opening a dedicated workspace in the New Year.

With a pre-commitment from Allen's VC firm, Axiom, to be our first business tenant and an investment application underway with nostr:npub1ft69mv46akgwumcxn873948ht0jvhh89c2z95pptfhqyf26g4wnqkatx3v (whose annual forum I'll be attending this week), we’re focused on hitting our pre-launch occupancy targets to make it happen 🏢✅

But it’s not just about business—it’s about building a community where ideas and people unite to create something greater than the sum of its parts.
