I found an old USB flash drive that I used to use as a 2nd Factor full disk decrypt device before Yubikey was made available.
It's crazy how much easier it is now to setup full disk encryption and use a Yubikey to unlock.

Which OS do you use?
For daily drivers I have a preference for Debian derivatives.
Most recently using Ubuntu MATE on this laptop. As Ubuntu MATE is a fork of Gnome 2, it's got a more classic menu layout and performs better given this systems specs. It's a HP Pavilion dv6-3140us circa 2010 upgraded to 8GB ram and an SSD.
