RIP YouTube: 2005-203X?

I was watching some YT videos on the TV tonight, bombarded by product advertisements throughout the video

As I’ve slowly been understanding Nostr more and more something clicked in my head to contextualize it further

In the not-so-distant future there will be a Nostr client on my smart. TV creators will post video content-relays. No ads, no addictive algorithm, no big corp’s monetizing you, or force feeding shit down your throat

Just peer-to-peer entertainment on the tele

I guess the question is not if, but when
