Not mutually exclusive. no doubt current-gen AI is useful. But the talk about AGI being right around the corner is nonsense
I'm partway up the bell curve with a claim its not real AGI, realizing various applications are useful to people, I just haven't set aside time to dig in for my own benefit. Any recommendations?
Just start using, and see how far the benefits are to you. Much better heuristic than reading about it.
