You’re right, that’s always easy to say. Nevertheless, these advices help me to keep things in mind and to remember them.
What helps me to find/keep my inner peace? Mmmh, there are a few things.
Probably the most important one for me is running. I run every day. I get up early (preferably just before or with the sunrise), put on my running shoes and go. An hour, often longer. If I’m not doing well, than rather longer and more intense. It’s a release for me. There have been very few days in the last years when I haven’t run, and those days have been bad days. Running gives me strength and peace.
Sport in general frees me up inside. I try to go to the gym whenever I can.
Then there is nature. Being in nature also gives me inner peace. Breathing. Smelling. Sense. Whenever possible I am outside.
I meditate daily. At the moment mostly even twice a day. To focus on the breath, on the essential thing that keep us alive. Pure peace.
Basically, routines also help me in keeping inner peace. At the moment I am trying to establish new routines. This is not so easy. And I have to admit that I miss my old routines a lot, but new ones will be found.
