Here’s the thing.

Nobody should feel demoralized because a million people didn’t just show up on Nostr because Xitter was cut off in Brazil.

We were never going to see a flood of adoption like that, and if we had, most of them would have left within a day.

The concepts behind Nostr are more complex and it takes a certain type of person to want to step through the looking glass.

The reason the apps are janky is because experimentation is valued over conformity. The things that make it frustrating are the same things that make it awesome.
