So sorry to hear this. Absolutely brutal what can happen to people when they can’t escape their pain and end up dependent on substances in an attempt. My mom got addicted to opioids in the early 2000’s and could never kick it. She lost everything slowly, including her family. She died alone last year. Life can be so cruel. Wishing you the best.
