Just unsubscribed from Twitter Blue. I know I never should have subscribed in the first place. I did hope Elon could turn it around and initially wanted to support that effort.

But it’s becoming clearer everyday that even Elon can’t save a centralized, ad supported biz model… an unfortunate shame. I’m not ready to delete Twitter yet (my usage has dropped 95% or more tho) but getting closer everyday after finding Nostr.

Incentives matter and at this point it’s easy to see the Twitter algorithms are made to produce conflict and engagement, everything else be damned.

If you’re reading this, you’re in the right spot. And hopefully we can all grow this new paradigm of free, open, honest speech and freedom together, away from the nasty and toxic incentives of platforms that came before. Here’s to working towards something better for everyone. 🤙🏻 🍻

For some reason I cant see your post/imagine but I appreciate it nonetheless. 🤝

Twitter's model failed once they started banning users and then giving them no recourse to fix the problem. I always found it odd even before Elon took over when I got banned on Twitter there was no way to get in contact with anyone yet Twitter had something like 7,500 employees at it's peak.

I did the same for the same reasons. And then nostr. Onward!

this is so true, also twitter who? 🧡💜

Just sent you a little profile zap ⚡️ I have the same thoughts with twitter and I don’t really like it’s algorithm anyways, it’s just a very petty way to get attention IMO

Posted this yesterday but feels worthy of a repost in light of today’s madness on the bird app. Viva la Nostr 🤙🏻
