As I find myself early in my nostr journey, I remember that social media is very easy to gravitate towards the negative. It was designed to be that way.

Despite being an inherently positive person, I feel the pull to give the negative unbalanced attention. Thus, I wanted to share a philosophy that I've benefitted from throughout my life... it's John Gottman's "Magic Relationship Ratio". It’s not advocating to live in a rose-colored glasses world but instead acknowledge that what you give the most energy will likely win.

Anyway, posting this will help keep my future posts adhering to this ratio. Nostr is already there (shiny happy bitcoin people), but it could change and become more combative as it grows and matures. Maybe info like this ratio can help manifest the world we want to see... a group of low time preference people building for a positive future. Peace.
