Well, if you believe it's possible to live in a simulation, then I suppose we could be 67, or 67 to the tenth power, layers deep in nested simulations. Maybe the nesting is even circular, so that the first simulation level is nested inside the last one -- meaning not only that there is no base reality, but that there is even no base simulation. Occam's razor suggests to me that none of this is likely to be true.
