GUATEMALA BECAME THE FIRST COUNTRY TO IMPROVE ITS ELECTION PROCESSES USING BITCOIN.

1) VOTES STILL CAST AS NORMAL.

2) VOTE TALLIES IN EACH DISTRICT ARE THEN NOTARIZED AND TIMESTAMPED USING BITCOIN.

3) THIS PREVENTS TAMPERING AFTER THE FACT AND MAKES ELECTIONS MUCH EASIER TO AUDIT.

Good start, if well doen it prevent's a central authority to mingle with the results...

But the counting and timeatamping has to be done right otherwise it's forever in the Blockchain but wrong, so what's known as "the oracle problem"
