# RIDE SHARING

Are you following the debacle in Minneapolis? Either Uber and Lyft will leave, or the State will inflate the price of rides beyond the reach of some riders.

So who is working on the ride-sharing space #Nostr?

It seems like a natural fit. A driver sets up a local relay. His passengers follow his relay. Other drivers join and viola you've created a ride-sharing market.

This seems like a natural app for Nostr.

Driver's establish their own business and keep their own money. No central authority means, no Unions, and it becomes hard for State interference.

Then we just need a strong reputation system

Are you working on this?

Just get into my 🚐!

They did that in Dallas (or was it Austin?) after Uber and Lyft abandoned the city. Rides were advertised on a Facebook page and business was booming.

There are security issues for both driver and his fare. That's an opportunity for yet another business. Perhaps an app that broadcasts your whereabouts to your friends and family, and a streaming camera.

#STREAM MY RIDE

I think with wearables like glasses, this will be very easy. I’d like to think a ride providers rating or zap counter could also help showing reliable operators.
