Hold up, the privacy is still not a crime though, the money laundering is 🤔
Discussion
It would also depend on why you are laundering the money. Law =/= ethics
Money laundering is not a crime.
The actual crime happened before, like cleaning a knife full of blood is not a crime itself.
But since law and the ones who enforces it often can't prove a crime or what they appeal as a crime, then they create new laws, word or phrases that will fit their shenanigans in order to pursue their total control goals.
What is or not a crime is decided by the law. So semantically, you are wrong. It is a crime.
Just found this new episode, andistening right now.. coincidence? 👀
Even if the money came from a crime you committed, laundering that money is not the unethical part.
Should a bank robber also be charged with the crime of conceleaing his face on top of the original crime of robbing the bank? It's pretty ridiculous if you ask me
Money laundering is just an act of seeking financial privacy. Not all privacy enabled acts have been outlawed (yet) all though they are trying to ban e2e encryption.
