Wanting to start a local bitcoin/lighting/nostr group. What's the best platform to get people together on this? I know there are nostr options, but I want it to be easily found by normies, then we'll orange and purple pill them

But there are a lot of people who don't do Facebook anymore as well. Do meetup groups show up on Google?

From my experience, people do end up finding the meetup through meetup. Com... If you start a meetup and get some regulars then they will inevitably bring locals they know who are interested too. No of the meetup groups are using orange pill all that I'm aware of but I've heard that's a good way to find some initial attendees. Good to have a diversity of Bitcoiners with different expertise. Node runners, miners, privacy ect
