Nice, I almost bought that camera several times. I love the Fuji x cameras for the manual controls though. Reminds me of my old film cameras.

I used to have the x100 F and loved it ironically I sold that for my GRiii

I had the original x100 and loved it. But it was a slow camera. Sold it to buy the xpro1 several years ago. Just recently acquired an x100vi after a very long resupply wait. It’s an amazing camera. But the GRiii is more portable. And the best camera is the one you can carry everywhere. So there’s always tradeoffs.

for all your photos are you taking them with your camera and transferring them to Nostr ? what's your workflow for this ?

Just a hobby for me, I don’t have a regular workflow. The xpro1 is an “old” camera at this point so I have to offload images on to the computer and then airdrop them to my phone to post or share.

The new x100vi can use WiFi to go straight to phone, but it’s not perfect. I don’t do much retouching at all, unless I have a specific thing I’m trying to do. If I do, it’s with Photoshop. I’ve never gotten used to Lightroom. Still take a lot of photos with just my phone, but the fujis have a much better look so I’m trying to get in the habit of carrying them around and using them more.

I got the 70-300mm lens to take photos of my kids’ sports and that’s been fun.

As for Nostr, I created my account 2 years ago but didn’t use it much. Recently started to use Primal more, love the idea of zaps, (and hate all the other social platforms at this point). Fun to be part of something new and building bitcoin. Just discovered the Olas client yesterday which seems like an early form of Instagram. Could be interesting if it becomes a place that’s about photography instead of influencers.

I used to post to Instagram but more or less stopped back in 2020.

Sorry for the essay, haha.
