general education beginning in preschool about environment, geology, and ecology is necessary for being able to comprehend outer space. how we treat earth is a reflection of how we treat ourselves; the throw away culture, always chasing something else, is usually the most aggressive and apathetic earth dweller. no-respect is a universal mindset for the racist supremacist. it will not change because they get into space. and i for one, would not want to be in space with someone who does not have respect for their home.
