Not a big deal IMHO. Jesus was most definitely someone with darker skin. 1000 years of representation of Jesus as a "white dude with a beard" isn't going to be harmed by this.

I've been bumped by "colorblind casting" in some other instances, but given both the performer and the specific work, I really don't see why this is a big deal.
