We are a husband/wife team with two young boys, here in Central Alberta.

We have been making our Tallow Balm for a couple of years now, which started out to help our sons sensitive and dry skin. Tallow Balm is the only product we have found that his skin agrees with.

We have been selling locally and through word of mouth on socials. Recently, the retail shop we were in, closed.

We're here to offer our Tallow Balm, Whipped or plain, to the Nostr community. We setup a store on plebian.market to offer our balm through.

We will be posting #zapsnag and #raffle for some of our high-quality, grass-fed Tallow Balm. All of our suet is sourced locally from cattle ranchers in our area.

Our website is still under construction, but with a fresh batch of balm crafted today, November 6th, we dont want to waste any time offering up these jars of goodness.

As part of our introduction, from November 6-13, 2025 we will offer a kickback of 5,000 sats to anyone who purchases a jar through Plebian.market in the form of a #zapback

Not hating, genuinely curious - what is the fascination with Tallow Balm in Bitcoin/Nostr?

There's probably now 6+ companies I know that are selling Tallow Balm on nostr. Relatively saturated market now.

As a piece of advice to the Tallow Balm producers, you need to set yourself apart in some way to stand out from the masses. Accepting bitcoin for payment isn't enough. Lab testing your product, identifying the origins, creative marketing, podcast sponsoring, etc.

Yeah, I'm neutral to it. Market dynamics and forces will play out. Just interesting to see this specific phenomena on nostr.

Lots of room in the Bitcoin/Nostr/and Twitter Health space for creative products.

Everyone needs an all natural moisturizer. There are many uses for tallow, balm is one of them that many people can benefit from.

We are Bitcoiners, its great to have the tools to sell what you produce for sats.

I should revise my statement though, you all are Canada based, which is a great thing. Many of the producers already on nostr are US or Latin America based. So that is your edge there.

Prominently make that known to fellow Canadians that Simply Tallow is the go-to for them.
