I just cancelled my Foundation Prime preorder. 😿 I was really looking forward to that device and building nostr tools for it but the delays finally broke me.

I’ve considered the same. The communication of expectations and timelines hasn’t been ideal from nostr:npub1s0vtkgej33n7ec4d7ycxmwt78up8hpfa30d0yfksrshq7t82mchqynpq6j .
That's what did it for me. I had a different understanding when I started the preorder of where it was in production cycle. When the tariffs deal happened I was already assuming that parts were ready for first batch. When the Aug video dropped I had assumed the OS was already ready. Missing the EOY was my third straw. I look forward to it launching and will likely still end up being a customer for this device, based on my usage of Passport, but felt I needed to do this for the statement of dissatisfaction alone.
The end of the year miss with no communication isn’t sitting well with me either.
I've seen mention that they will have a comms out this week to address before EOY and debated waiting to hear what was said but I got a little carried away
I think your reaction was entirely fair. I keep holding out hope and giving them the benefit of the doubt after each “soon” message.

I'm sure of it! I love my Passport and was sure I was going to love the Prime but these misses made me feel like I needed to do it to showcase my dissatisfaction. I'll miss the preorder goodies and the backup! I just had a different understanding of where you guys were from the start of production so each delay felt worse than it probably was based on my expectations for where I thought it was already.
