I think it was nostr:npub1rtlqca8r6auyaw5n5h3l5422dm4sry5dzfee4696fqe8s6qgudks7djtfs who argued that bitcoiners and grandmothers basically give the same advice:

-Save money, go for walks, plant a garden, eat real food, don't trust the banks, focus on your community, get some sun, etc.

I think that comparison is under-marketed. We need some memes about it or something.

Grandmas lived long time and know things that stand the test of time. They know it is ridiculous to have a short term mind.

Bitcoiners have low time preference and it looks like bitcoin will live a long time. It is about "time preference".

"Virtue" might be just a definition of having low time preference and low space preference. Thinking about the future of humanity is being virtuous. Just like wishing well for others.

It all comes down to whether we think short term or long term.
