Some say it should be large enough to handle multiple transactions. You don’t want your node to be the roadblock to a successful route. At a minimum 10mil sats.

But I’m thinking it’s more about opening channels to the right nodes so that you get movement and build a reputation on the network. 2mil sats min. is a good start.
