Not enough to really make a difference, no. If you don’t live here, it’s hard to understand.

I don’t live there. Been there a zillion times over 30 plus years.

Sister is a social worker in Harlem. Her husband is far left lawyer for NYU. (She’s basically apolitical)

They lived in manhattan for years and years - then Broklyn for a few years. Now north of city 30-40 mins.

I asked why she left: “well, schools are not great and crime getting worse”.

(I said - no shit. You voted for that BS for 30 years. Now have enough money to escape. Too bad for those left behind…”)

I’ve only been back once after the scam-demic. Got stuck overnight in June of 23 (if I remember correctly) during United’s flight meltdown that day/days.

It was a Monday night in manhattan - and it was dead. Only one bar open after 9pm. in a nice area I stayed in.

How many bars/restaurants killed in the city that never sleeps by that scam-demic bullshit? Don’t get me wrong / it killed thousands out here in the Midwest as well.

But this guy? This far far left socialist? I feel bad for the people that can’t escape.

And I worry that NYC is a springboard for his further ambitions.

Bitcoin fixes a lot, it gives me great hope.

it does not - IMO - fix the electing of these types of dangerous politicians.

I’ll take a flawed republican any day over these types.

I wish you well.
