As we move to make apps friendly for all, it probably makes sense to move away from technical terms for logins. NIP-anything sounds too technical. Instead we can say log in with a nostr extension and include a tooltip on where to find one.

This calls for terms that are commonly used for those nips.

E.g. NIP-05, NIP-7, NIP-96 etc.

Nostr extension works for browsers but it’s not a mobile device term.
