I'm not sure what rallies you mean that Biden led or supported, but Democrats are less tolerant - by far - of people from across the aisle than Republicans. (And I say this as someone who was until recently registered Democrat in the US.) If I were to go to a MAGA rally with a Bernie or Biden shirt I would expect to be mocked but I wouldn't be afraid. If I were to go to a leftist rally with a Trump hat, I would be scared of physical violence.
Talking of opposing voices as enemies is very common in both parties, and Trump in particular has been on the receiving end of so many media lies and so much political vitriol that most on the US left - and based on my exchanges with you, I would say around the world - genuinely have no idea what he has or hasn't done. He's overt about his desire to censor where Biden was dishonest about his censorship, which seems even worse to me.
Trump's particular style - the pompous, grandious talk - is grating, but that's not the main problem with him in my opinion.
The issues I have with Trump are pretty much the same issues I have with the other candidates - basically his bowing to the military-industrial complex and other power structures and more generally the centralization of power and the ramifications of central banking.
