I love going to concerts… but after watching The Weeknd’s HBO special, idk anymore.

I had a really good time dancing around not worried about knocking someone’s drink out their hand… but I also missed getting dressed up, pregaming, and all the auxiliary fun.

Do you think concerts are becoming the next movie theater?

What do you mean when you say the next movie theater exactly?

They were once in every city and everyone could afford to go. Now they’re really expensive and most people don’t go since they can watch from home.

Ahh okay. I can see that perspective for sure. But I feel like it just depends on who you see and what you're into. The cheap concert culture that's not filmed for everyone to see and everyone having a good time is still around for sure. But everyone will have a different perspective on it

I must Fandango somewhere

What do you mean?

Dancing belle, it's a necessity for the mango

I feel you. Dancing is my favorite thing to do on the planet. Do you only dance at concerts?

Where ever there is music, I will fandango

Same🫶🏽

Although my time is spent differently than my freewheeling days, my soul is crushed at such a thought.

Live music is the same as live conversation, sure theres nostr but something is lost without the subtitles of human context. You can ₿ulid a community, ₿ut you cant fake the same place same time feeling.

I will defend my “golden years”

I’m totally with you! My husband isn’t a fan of the concert experience so we compromise and go to Bitconferences.

I reserve concerts/festivals for outings with my girls. Nothing beats the energy that radiates when a bunch of people get together.

I like going to concerts too and in my opinion its not the same as watching it on tv. The atmosphere, people, this excitement when you get ready.. fantastic feeling. Ofc I would love ticket prices to be a lil bit lower, but once in a while, why not? Seeing and hearing band you like playing live- priceless

Agreed. The energy is unmatched. A definite good time. A lot of the music I like is still remotely underground so tix aren’t crazy. I hope it stays that way though.
