I don’t think you’re wrong just misinformed. Easter is a pagan holiday. It’s a feast for Ishtar a fertility idol whose feasts celebrate the solstice and spring.

Christ Resurrection is what is celebrated today. It’s the reminder that Christ has defeated the clutches of death and saved the world. The frustration you’re having is not with “Christian’s” but with wolves in sheep’s clothing. Scripture tells followers of Christ to wrap their hearts in the word and pray often to have relationship with GOD so they know the difference between what’s of the world and what’s of Christ simply because the enemy is great at presenting himself as something it’s not. That’s why wisdom and discernment are so important.

Most aren’t weak or pathetic, they’re serving the wrong GOD but it’s okay because it’s not for us to judge them. I hope today is a happy one for you that even though others may appear lost. You don’t have to be.

Jesus knew he was going to be betrayed and still broke bread and washed the feet of his betrayers… maybe that’s the lead we should follow today instead of being like the soldiers who captured and crucified him.

Well said.

To make sure we are talking about the same thing, let’s start with the end in mind.

What’s Gods goal? Is it not a kingdom?

I can’t speak for GOD. All I can do is focus on making sure I confess, repent, and share the gospel. I fall short every single day of his kingdom.

What I know is I’ve accepted Jesus as my lord and savior which means I’ve been adopted into his family and I’m a part of the body. Which is something I celebrate today. I know GOD doesn’t need me, I need him… so idk.
