I guess everyone who doesn't want kids can't not-have them even harder, so we've neared some sort of a floor.
I have to say the last 4 weeks with my daughter in my arms were the best of my life even if germany is a child-unfriendly country
I didn't actually find it to be child-unfriendly. Probably regional.
It was relatively idealic, TBH. Kids were totally free range and hung out with their relatives and could walk to school. And there was no left-wing brainwashing, but also none of that MAGA stuff. Teachers were high-quality. Midwives and hospitals were top.
And the school system went out of their way to deal with their needs and integrate them, well.
Bavaria left a very good impression on me. The kids like it here and want to stay. Both attending secondary school here, even though we told them they could go to America for it.
And the high-quality food and all of the fresh air and excersize and sports clubs.
I actually feel no motivation to leave here. If only the trains ran on time and they get mass-immigration under control. Those are the two things driving me nuts.
