The only valid point I can make on this subject is the amount of storage space available to the normal user on their raspi node. the rest, in my opinion, is regulated by the market or the fees

You literally just said yourself, it shouldn't be deliberately be made easier to do. Core 30 does exactly that, for no reason that makes sense besides someone being paid of.
