I have a very short growing season and a late start date, so I always start seeds much later than most people, but I need to get my butt in gear and start some seeds, or at least figure out when I need to start seeds. I won't be in the garden this weekend because it is supposed to snow all weekend. Growing seasons seems far away, but isn't.

It comes round quick dosen't it ?

Although we dont get a lot of snow here, i usually wait till easter before i plant out. Tomatoes and chillis get sown indoors warly febuaty and left on a sunny windowsill. 👍🏻

Lookin' good! We planted peppers and eggplants but haven't figured out our whole garden layout for this year, so we don't know how many of what we need yet.

There are so many planning complexities for new gardeners:

- Crop rotation

- Sunlight needs (including what plants will end up shading other plants)

- Water needs

- Trellises

- Whether it need pollinators or needs to be covered

And we're also building a row cover to keep out the cabbage moths this year. We'll get there, but 😵‍💫
