I’m by no means a multisig expert but I think it really just depends what you’re trying to accomplish and your personal preferences. 2/3 is probably more than fine but if you want extra security then obviously the more the better, store each key in a different location - same thing if you’re just trying eliminate the risk of losing or misplacing a key. If you’re setting up a wallet for someone else that you don’t trust to not transfer/sell then maybe 2/3, you give them 1 and you keep 2. But I personally wouldn’t give another person a key unless I was setting up the wallet for them to share. You never know who could turn on you when money is in the picture, and there’s always a chance that they misplace the key when you’ll need it most, but that’s just my opinion.
