I traded Bitcoin thinking that I didn't have enough capital to make a material difference to my life.

With hindsight I can see how retarded that was.

I'd be in a much better position right now if I hadn't acted on those fears. I missed that whole dip in 2020 because I was too busy licking my wounds & cursing my foolishness.

I wish I'd paid more attention to those trying to warn newbies. At the time I just thought that they were trying to pump their bags & provide exit liquidity. Knowing myself, I don't think I could've learned that lesson from others. I had to touch the stove myself.

Same deal with all of us that have been around for a little while. It’s part of the bitcoin journey to fall down and get up.

I remember trying to time the market when I first got into bitcoin. I failed miserably

The worst thing about that is that loss compounds each cycle. It's a burden you'll always carry. The festering burn scar from touching the stove.

It's really no different to the opportunity cost of the useless crap you bought while knowing about Bitcoin.

I have a pair of shoes that cost me the equivalent of 5 million sats. I bought them just as I was starting to buy Bitcoin. Nice shoes but not that nice.

What’s past is past tbh what matters is that you have seen the path into bitcoin…

We also don’t live to collect coins like Mario, life is just one and we have to enjoy it 😊
