There are many ways to “kill” someone. Take their voice is one of the easiest. Sadly.

I'm not sure how things could have got so bad for him that he decided to take the action he did. He just needed a good friend. Thats all it takes. Unfortunately a good friend can be hard to come by sometimes.
It doesn't matter what someone says to you, whether direct threat or how they make you feel, we dont need to be locked into what is trying to be imposed on us.
Feel it when it is happening, resisting it only makes the lock stronger. But remember you can get out. Ironically the best way to get out, is to go into it more, so much more eventually you realise it isn't real, and you get unlocked.
I've been there, its horrible when you in it. It feels as real as real can be. Dont resist it, and you can break free. No shit, this isn't just some flowery sounded self help.
