IMMORTALITY OF MY SOUL

My sorrow grows branches and roses

From the rain of my eyes

And my longing brings lightning,

Thunder, and the flood of the decades

With the wind at my back,

I will travel,

I will love,

And I will break

With my arms wide open

To the immortality of my soul.
