At one point, I decided I had enough. I would concentrate on th hill in front of me and force the sun to rise over its forested top.

I raised my hand. I pointed. I was confident that I had the power to manifest my own illusions.

As my outstretched hand reached toward the top of the hill, I saw a light appear - afaint glow that quickly brightened as I continued an upward motion with my arm!

This couldn't be real! I became frightened and pulled my arm back.

At that moment, the light manifested as car headlights. There must have been a road at the top of the hill... but I wasn't convinced that I hadn't created this illusion to justify my fears...

After a while I decided I would try again.

I raised my arm and pointed...

Like magic, a faint glow again brightened before my eyes!!!

That's impossible, I thought. Again I dropped my arm and again the light tool shape as 2 distinct headlights from another vehicle turning into my view...

Well. The morning did finally come. The sun rose from a different direction than I was staring. I made my way back to camp, which was surprisingly close to where I had stopped for the night.

My friends were happy to see me. We made breakfast and coffee a d packed our tents, mine never used.

I stayed quiet all the way home. To this day I have never shared this story.

Thanks for listening.
