Daily Roman History:

Emperor Nero was a bit of a weird one. He thought he was an amazing actor/athlete/musician. He was not. After bribing officials to postpone the Olympic games a year so he could compete he participated in a 10 horse chariot race. Despite being thrown off at the beginning and leaving the race he was crowned victor. The officials based this on the fact he WOULD have won if he had, ya know, finished. After his death his name was removed from the list of winners.
